Best Travel Industry Website - Currituck OBX

We loved teaming with Currituck Outer Banks Travel & Tourism to create their brand-new Visitors Guide, the online version of which was named Best Travel Industry Website 2014 by the Eastern Chapter of the Society of American Travel Writers.

"I would high recommend J.S. and Kathy Newbern to anyone looking for professional, experienced writers. The compelling editorial they produced has helped the Tourism Department create a top-notch guide that showcases the attractions, activities and accomodations available in Currituck." — D. NC LIONS VIP Fishing Tournament

We were honored to work with the NC Lions Visually Impaired Persons (VIP) Fishing Tournament, Oct. 20-22, 2014, on the Outer Banks. Our "Blitz the Banks" community awareness campaign shone a spotlight on this great event that brought 525 VIPS and their sighted guests to the Outer Banks from across the U.S. and Canada. The event also involves more than 350 local volunteers plus an additional 125 student volunteers from high school and college. Join the fun: Adopt-a-Fisherman, or volunteer, donate goods or in-kind services or ask about becoming a sponsor by emailing whiteink1@earthlink.net.
